One Hundred Companies Eco Tee
Regular price $27.00
A lot of climate activism focuses on individual action, and more importantly, individual responsibility for what's happening to our atmosphere. But that obscures the reality of the massively outsized influence a select few corporations have on the radical altering of our climate.
We should not be encouraging people to feel so guilty about their individual contribution when just one hundred companies, mostly oil companies, have been the source of more than 70% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions since 1988. Responsibility lies with them, and with that, the possibility for change.
You can read about who those companies are in the report cited on this shirt, a study from the Carbon Major Database, here.
2$ from each sale of this shirt will be donated to 350.org.
Preserving our environment runs to the core of this shirt’s design. It's the product of (at least) 4 recycled plastic bottles, with the rest of the material sourced from organic cotton.
This shirt is made-to-order, and printed in the United States. All imported source material is produced ethically and via strict guidelines. To learn more about where this shirt comes from and our commitment to corporate social responsibility, click here.
Sizing Guide
This shirt is a crew neck, which means that the neckline is slightly higher than a regular t-shirt. It runs true to size, though if you’re looking for a more feminine fit, consider buying one size down.

A shirt “length” is the distance from the very bottom to the top of the collar. Its “width” is measured as the distance taken across the front of the chest, starting just below arms.
Our shirt sizes conform with typical American sizing for slim fit shirts. If you want a better idea of your size, the easiest way to measure is to take a regular shirt, lay it on a flat surface, and make the measurements you see on the diagram. Remember that the chest measurement is for the front only, and make sure the shirt is stretched out completely flat.
